A garbage can filled with VHS tapesWhile still waiting on someone to comment here, there’s been plenty of time to look at the new shows heading to torrent sites everywhere in a matter of weeks. Of course, the first fatal mistake of this preview could be trying to predict shows which no one will care about by the time August starts, but that’s half the fun of trying. So sit back, grab a cold beverage, and spend some time reading about shows being dismissed often for no reason at all.

Doujin Work – Young girl gets sucked into the world of doujinshi, meets a bunch of varied character stereotypes, then dreams of creating her own. Also features the seiyuu trying to put together their own doujinshi. Oh boy, uninspired plot with a feature that hardly makes up for what is in all likelihood rubbish.

Shigurui – Tokugawa era, swords, not even worthy of having its own website. Definite pass material here.

Buzzer Beater – If the remake of a show from 2 years ago about a human basketball team playing aliens isn’t enough to get you out of your seat, wait, I can’t believe I just wrote that. Ugh.
